Rivew: Collection (2000) Ultimate Fix Cream Foundation.

Hiya guys, today I'm going to be reviewing my first ever cream foundation. Now I know that cream foundation's are designed more for dryer skin, so when I brought my first ever cream foundation I didn't want to buy an expensive one, as I didn't know if it would work for my skin type (oily). Also I would just like to add that if you have dry skin take what I say with a pinch of salt and don't let me make you not buy it, as I do have oily skin.

Now, on with the post...

This product claims to be a 3 in 1; a foundation, concealer and powder. On top of that it also has a SPF 15 and was only £4.99, so I thought, why should I not give this a go? The worst that could come out of it is that I have spent £5 on a product that I don't like, and at least then I  can tick it off of my ''foundations to try list'' (only joking I don't really have one of them) and get a blog post out of it!

In the pan and when I swatched it, it looked very dark and orange. However, when blended out (picture below) it's not orange at all, in fact I would even go as far as saying its a bit too pale for me (shocker right?). So, it is described by Collection 2000 to (and I quote) have a ''lightweight solid to liquid formulation which provides the coverage of a liquid foundation with a powder finish.'' and conceal like a concealer would. I did still have to go in with a separate concealer, as I just wasn't satisfied with the coverage, and I also setted it with a powder because as I said earlier I do have oily skin. Even then it only lasted no more than two hours before I had to re-powder.

Conclusion: For me this foundation just didn't cut it. It didn't last long on my skin at all, but I really liked how it contains an SPF and that it comes with a mirror and sponge. I am still going to use it up, say on days where I just want to nip to the shop, but don't want to wear no makeup. But will I repurchase it? No. However, having said that I think that if you have normal to dry skin then this may work for you. I really didn't have a problem with the coverage just the lasting power.
